Back from HongKong, still as depressing.

After 5 days and 4 nights in Hong Kong, i'm finally back from the land which never sleeps. Damnit i have no idea what the people do there so late at night. 3am in the morning and still there are people walking around. It felt so weird last night around midnight when i reached home in my parent's car, looked around to see hardly anybody on the road. Hey maybe cos it's a Monday night right? Well them youngsters in Hong Kong apparently don't really care whatever night it is...

Well more about the trip less about my curiosity to their lifestyle. First 2 days and 1 night was spent in the Hollywood Disney Hotel, not the Disney Hotel. Quite a major difference if you ask me so take note if you ever head over there. Well yeah so i spent the majority of my first 2 days in Disneyland. Lots of taking pictures, buying stuff and eating expensive food. It was fun kinda fun tho, quite an experience. I know i've been to Disneyland America before but i don't remember the trip cos i was still young. Disney overall was quite fun, i'd rate it around 3.5/5 for all the fun time i had walking around taking pictures of practically everything and buying expensive souvenirs, hah.

After checking out from the hotel we headed down to Mong Kok to find our hostel. The first outlook of the hostel was kinda... disappointing. Well it was located in an old building, small room for 4 guys and just couldn't compare to the hotel at Disney. But hey, after the first night it became quite a cozy place to stay at. Since we already did quite abit of shopping at Disney, it was time to do alot more. After settling down in the hostel we immediately headed out for a sumptuous and cheap 'lunch' then went to Tsim Sha Tsui to walk the Avenue of Stars and catch the Symphony of Lights. Then a fast dinner and off to Temple Street and ended off at the Ladies Market which was right opposite our hostel. Well overall we spent most of the 3 days which were not in Disney running around Hong Kong eating, shopping, eating, shopping. At least we achieved what we set out to eat, woot. Kinda disappointed that i didn't really buy alot of stuff actually... And after reading one of my friend's msn nick i finally understood why i felt so depressed on the plane last night. His nick reads 'It is a rule, that after every new experience, one wakes up the next day feeling a sense of loss.' Made quite alot of sense to me and why i felt how i felt. Regrets and a tinge of sadness for all the things i missed out, the expected hype yet lack of it and overall just the little stuff.

Guess i should try to look forward to all the good stuff to come and keep the happy memories eh? Kinda hard when you're lost and yet stumbling into unchartered territories. The peaceful times and secure 'job' in the SAF is over and soon i will have my freedom back just to sell it to another. What to do i know not. Chill?
