1+1 = (Part II)

Halloa holloa and holloa. Happy Lunar New Year and Xin Nian Kuai Le to everyone who reads this blog...if any.

I promised weeks ago that 1+1 = (Part II) will be out before Valentine's Day. Well, Im late but better late than never. Its like a delayed orgasm, tension and what not builds up, leading to an uber explosion and release of ***** and untold pleasures. Good things are definitely worth waiting for.

So let's cut to the chase and allow me to present the pros and cons of NOT being attached. This will be a quickie, indeed.

THE GOOD:
(1.) Having tons of time to hang out with family and friends. Sometimes being with just one person is too boring and stifling. Think of the rounds of big laughter and groupie love at Zheng Fa Live Seafood. Cannot tahan ok! There is no fixed period or timing during the day or night which has to blocked off for "commitments"

(2.) Speaking of commitments, you have literally little or no commitments. And no reporting of whereabouts to that someone.

(3.) Getting down and dirty, lip locking with some stranger or getting caught with the pants/skirts down during club/pubs nightouts are not a problem and is without apprehension.

(4.) Able to have quality time for personal growth. Without such, one will be a dumbass the rest of his/her life. And this is possible without the incessant phone/sms rings.

(5.) The freedom to appreciate (or even further pursue) the creme de la creme of the other sex without the risk of being chastised or breaking up(!!!). There is a chinese saying which states there is a mountain even higher than the current one. Same meaning applies for your current flame, hotshot. But if the current flame allows and particpates in such screening of the finer arts, a threesome or more is definitely in the pipeline.

THE BAD:
(1.) Basically the reversals of THE GOOD as stated in PART I of this series of post.

THE UGLY:
(1.) Ending up a lonely asses bastards blogging(bitching acutallu) about such issues. Hur Hur.

With this, I wrap up the 2 episode series of 1+1 =. Facing a problem after reading this? No worries lah. The best option is to have a Non Commital Relationship. You can have the best of both worlds then. What a deal huh. Stay tuned next feb for another round of..debate and study about relationships.

See ya~

if you got it...flaunt it!

I wanted to post something about the chinese new year visit to our beloved teacher place but dear bryan has volunteer to do it, so we shall wait.

so in the meantime, to keep whoever visit here entertained, moi shall post something...erm quite bastard.

So let's all hail the mini-skirts. i gotta say from our point of view that it's probably one of the most entertaining, most exhilarating, most eye-catching, most talkabout, most WAH! topic among us. To all girls with gorgeous, slim, well-toned, firm, fair, long, smooth legs...i sincerely thank you all. THANK YOU! the little skirt or pants that you all put on has certainly enhances the valued asset that you all possess. Personally, i adore girls with pretty legs. When all you out there walk pass us, it indeed add some spice to our pathetic life. WAH! our 1st reaction, followed by a few seconds of stares and then we start talking about it. if you got it, flaunt it! shucks, i sound like a lecher now. ladies who read this will have a second thoughts about my psycho now. But...what the hell! i am merely stating the fact. All normal guys react this way and i am just brave enough to express my personal opinions. C'mon...guys will definitely be nodding away(i hope).

erm, as for ladies with 'not so nice' asset. i shall keep the comments to myself. but jus by the last sentence, i will sound completely, totally, incorrigibly, absolutely, thoroughly bastard. ah~ whatever. A word of advice though (to all girls), be very, extremely, careful when you all are travelling up the escalator in ur pretty skirts...er-hem~

well, i will end here. ladies who read and are not happy will probably b swearing and cursing me now. ah but i just wanna post something...mini-skirts...swing-swing.

Money. Time. Wank. Life.

Firstly I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts, but i guess this one would explain quite a lot.

Well Chinese New Year is coming to an end, quite the same as all other years for me except that i had less time to celebrate. And I haven't touched a mahjong set this whole new year... yet. Anyway with the end of the Chinese New Year it signifies the coming of exams for the people in uni and back to work for all the other wankers. This is quite significant for the 3 of us bastards i guess. XuXian is back to school with his many projects and many chais. Bryan is going to school too, however it's to ACS to work. And he hasn't entered SMU, yet. For me it's back to camp, another 2 more weeks and the understudies come and it's time to kick back, relax and find a job. going for a job fair thingie this Saturday, but i heard the job offers are all about security.

With all of us bastards walking down different paths in life, it's kinda hard to keep together anymore. Most important of all i think is the willingness to stick together. Every time something is organized the response is pathetic. Sure all of us come from different backgrounds, have different interests. But I'm sure there are still things to bring us together. Why do i say it's the 'willingness' to stick together? Because people aren't willing to fork out time, nor willing to try new stuff, nor willing to mix around more. People always say 'But i don't like to do this-or-that' or 'I don't like to mix around with so-and-so'. Everything changes, be more adaptable! A simple question, how can you not like something if you have never tried it? I learnt this lesson after being an anti-clubber for my 3 years in poly. Even after my first clubbing experience i still did not like it. My second time was much more fun and now I'm a social clubber and have learnt my lesson well.

Money. Time. Wank (Work). Life. Even though Bryan, XuXian and I don't exactly have the money nor the time, we still try to meet up once a week or so just to 'window shop' and chill. When i refer to 'the bastards', i no longer see it as a class whose spirit never faltered, i only see 3 lone bastards who never gave up their 'relationship'.

I'd really like to end this post by telling everyone to cherish their friends and stick together even if they don't cherish the friendship. But honestly, if they don't give a fuck, why should you? Same goes for any kind of relationship.

No picts this time, stay tuned however for Bryan's long awaited 1+1 Part 2 and some upcoming picts from this Chinese New Year gathering. Ciao for now.

Prosperity, Luck, Fortune for the New Year...who can forget the food.

Hey Hey! Happy Lunar New Year to all who know us and visit this blog! For me the year only start after chinese new year... so have a good year ahead everybody.

Yes yes...food is very important for Chinese New Year...wah the tasty ba kwah, my all time favourite almond cookie, those cute little pineapple tarts. Look at my well-stocked and happily-reddish table and hell yeah...ALL of us love them...

eh but other than the food and ang pao...i guess chinese new year is quite boring. Visiting relatives have become a chore as older generation just sit in one corner stoning away, while our parents chat happily about what they did for the past year. Somehow, our ear perk up when they say "ah it's getting late, we got elsewhere to go..." wah finally.... then we come out from our little hide out and stick out hand out with a smile when they hand us the little red packet that we just wanted. heh heh...

Well, anyway...i think many of us still enjoy the new year. So enjoy yourself the next few days and do remember to drink water after those heaty goodies. Ah~ and also do work off those fats, cholesterols that you have accumulated. woot~~

Just another day...

Just another wednesday this term like any other, with me almost dozing off in class again. but somehow some girls are carrying roses in their hand today. But cynical, bo chup me simply care less and tried my very best to stay awake. right... things might be different if one is attached or trying their very best to confess to whoever it may be. hmmm...i dunno about it. *shrug.

Overrated it really is. Over-rated roses, over-rated chocolate, over-rated dinner, over-rated greetings. Stuffs today seem really over-priced and over-regarded. so true eh... All these stuffs are so much expected on the 14th of Feb that it is neither a surprise nor special anymore. On the other hand, these stuffs are so much under-rated during normal days. Popping a rose, a delightful bag of chocolate, a simple sincere greetings, on a plain, old normal day will certainly be much more appreciated. Really.

Special occasion ain't special any more. V-Day seem more 'valentine' on any other day other than 14 Feb. ok, many may feel that this sound like a case of sour grapes. still, when you are bored and have nothing to ponder over, what i posted today is not wrong at all.
So, do take care all you out there. Drink lotsa herbal tea during the upcoming CNY to prevent heatyness. ulcer and sore throat aint that comfortable...
Cheers~

you better watch out..cause

IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!

Dinner's all over the floor now..bummer.

For all the lovebirds out there, lucky you ah. All the best too. May you stay relatively rich and thus remain attached. Don't let it be said Im one jealous piece of shit, heh heh.

Anyway, to all my fellow SINGLE brothers and sisters out there, do not despair. There are things for you on this day as well. You can always go to a restaurant or dining place with your buddies, make hell lotta of noise and generally disturb, interrupt and irritate the couples out there. You can always crawl into bed with a nice book like The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and learn that there is much more to life than finding and having that special one. If you really want someone to bonk(which i suspect is the real motive for the modern valentined), hop down to Geyland, Keong Siak or any suspicious tui na shop lor.

To round it off, let me dedicate a song to all singletons out there. Emotional Weather Report by Tom Waits. Let it teach you that life is like the weather, there will be good and bad days, there will always be a new day ahead.

And in the spirit of Valentine's Day(which i barely wanna acknowlege), here is something special for you all...

The wind in my hair. The sand in my eye.

Yes once again 'depressing' Stan is out to rant. But this will be different, it's a pictured rant! Read on avid bastard fans...

It happened on a bright sunny morning, just like every other bright sunny morning in Singapore nowadays. The ones where me and Pang are either busy or lacking in money to wakeboard in, damn it. Anyway, i was in camp this specific day walking down the road back to the office to get some stuff. As usual depressing thoughts just jumped to mind. The usual 'What is our purpose in life?' question haunted me. Sure i was enjoying the pleasant wind on such a hot day, but it just made me think more about why was life the way it is. Other such depressing thoughts came to join in the party in my head of course.

Then suddenly it hit me. No not a 5 toner, but a grain of sand. Straight in the eye. Instantly what jumped to mind was, "Hey, the sun is shining, the wind is blowing. You're alive, healthy and well to do compared to other people, wtf are you complaining about? Enjoy the breeze you bastard." It was quite a surprising thought since usually my normal mental reaction to said incident would be "F*CK. F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK!"

Anywho, that was just a one time reaction. Shortly after enjoying the breeze i got back to being the same old depressing me. This whole experience taught me something tho. There are good times and there are bad times. Just try to treasure what you have and fight for what you don't, never just 'try to make do' or give up on yourself. Even tho in the end, we'll all still die, try to enjoy life while we can.

Guess I'll end this post with a picture since Pang says it's all the craze about picture blogging nowadays and we don't seem to be getting many comments or hits...

Royce and Godiva.
One of my friend's V-day gift last year.
Courtesy of, me.
Tis the inside of that Godiva packaging.

With these 2 nostalgic pictures, i end my post. Have fun.

Dinner and coffee...

Howdy people...finding a place for dinner? alright Spageddies at Orchard Paragon is quite nice where the 3 of us had a little 'exp' dinner since it's dear bryan bday tml. orh well... the food is ok, at least the salad kinda nice. so do head down to try if ya looking for a place for a date this valentine's. Well, we had a some mental drama there and bryan will prob post some pics and 'sarca' about it.

Alright, after some aimless walking down town trying to feast on eye candies, our legs start to complain, mouths yearn for some snacks and the aroma of coffee... So all you out there...Coffee Club at the Millenia Walk is our pick...
Yay! 'a cup above the rest', nice and new place with some bright retro orange couch...
AH~ there u go... a cosy, comfortable, chill-out place with some some 'familiar faces', the 'depressing' (self-proclaim) stan and 'sarcastic' (also self-proclaim) bryan.
ok i gonna show face as well...
So there it is...a nice place for dinner and a cosy chill out place for a nice cuppa coffee. So you're are looking for a place to hang out with frens and love one, this places are kinda cool.

1 + 1 =

As one can obviously tell, my fellow bastard has done some griping about Valentine's Day. Which is also known as International Friendship Day for all the lonely assed people out there without a dime chance of bagging a date, not least a boyfriend or girlfriend.

Therefore, yours truly has decided to come up with a mini study of having or not having that love of your life. The pros and the cons. The bliss and hardship. The...whatever. I shall strive to be bipartisan, fair and not myopic nor biased despite my hardcore bastard and single status.

THE POSITIVES OF HAVING A BF/GF:
(1.) Having that exclusive shoulder or whichever body part one prefers to cry on.
(2.) Having that exclusive someone to celebrate Valentine's Day(urgh) with.
(3.) Having that exclusive someone to shower your love/wealth with.
(4.) Able to walk down Orchard Road and snub those lonely assed souls by wrapping your arms around the waist of that exclusive one/making out on public transport/shielding your loved one by standing and not budging on the crowded bus while he or she seats on the aisle seat
(5.) Photowhore with your loved one then put it up on your blog or friendster with loud declarations of "I Love You" or "Sweet Baby" kind of tags. Three exclamation marks following such declarations are optional.
(6.) Actually having a reason to watch sappy/comedic romance movies.
(7.) Doing dumb things like queing for 4hrs and more for Donut Factory edibles to indulge the loved one.
(8.) Have someone to plan your birthdays.

THE NEGATIVES OF HAVING A BF/GF:
(1.) To a certaint extent, the chances of being left poor will dramatically increase.
(2.) And when becoming poor, chances of being single will too dramatically increase.

BUT THEN, WHEN IN LOVE WHERE GOT NEGATIVE ONE?! LOVE CONQUERS ALL HOR. LOVE BLINDS AND SUFFOCATES BUT STILL ONE WILL FEEL DAMN...SONG!

So this will bring us to the end of part 1 of 1+1 =, where we unravel the good, the bad and the missing ugly of having a partner. Next, in a couple of hours or days hopefully, part 2 of 1+1 = will be out in time before Valentine's Day(urgh) where we explore the good, the bad and the ugly of NOT having a partner.

Till then, take care and stay home, cause Valentine's Day is coming...

Festive Season Once Again...

Well it's the start of February and i guess you can say the festive season is here once again. Firstly it's Xin Ying's birthday today, so... Happy Birthday, yeah...

And well on the 14th is the upcoming yearly International Friends(or Friendship, forgot which one) Day, or in other words, Valentines Day. Maybe it's the fact that i have hated this day for the past 21 years that prevents me from actually letting go of this hatred. Or maybe cos i'm on duty on that day and the girl i asked out on the eve has other commitments. Anyway, yeah, Valentines day. A day to remind people without partners that they are alone. Thus coming up with the International Friendship Day thingie i guess. Doesn't make much of a difference if you ask me, people will still think it's bullshit and a lousy day. Or maybe it's just me. F*ck it all anyway, stupid Valentines day, flowers*mutter mutter* chocolate *curse & swear* dinner, BAH!

Well enough of ranting on the first upcoming crappy 'holiday' and on to the next, Chinese New Year! A time to wear new stuff, collect red packets, gamble, gather/reunite and overall just enjoy. Oh joy i'm spending majority of Chinese New Year in camp. At least i got quite a bit of new clothes this year, not really satisfying tho since it cut my budget so much that i couldn't wakeboard for the next few weeks... Love my new jacket, will try to post a pict of some new stuff that we bastards have bought for the new year since we all know how boring blogs are without pictures.

Oh and i think lastly would be the numerous birthdays of 06 personnel which are in February and early March. Joy.

So with such numerous joyous occasions this month who wouldn't be happy?
Other than me i guess. Morale at an all time low.
Anywho, take care and have fun.
