the truth about exam.

ok i have to write something.
and i believe for most, exam are already over and cheering to the joy of holidays. yeah!!!
well ya...so am i.
for the past weeks, my life has seriously been crazy.
never mind about the details, not very interesting anyway.
but still as i mug my way to exam, i realise some craps about exam and mugging. hmmm...

1. mug for 20hrs
i wonder how people mug for 20hours? well guess, i "pulled it off" somehow as well.
but what the hell man? how many of these 20hrs were effectively spend on studying.
bullshit i think. i think i probably jetman on facebook at least 1/2 the 20hours.
and well of cos the toilet break, lunch break, tea break, music break, nose-digging break and what have you in between.
Conclusion: forget about studying 20hrs. next time, maybe i'll sit down for 4hrs straight. and sleep and slack the next 20hrs.
yay!

2. late late night
just yesterday i realise how wasteful and stupid i am to stay up quite late. damn.
but i got a perfect reason to do it. i guess.
it makes my almighty guilty conscience feel better. ya... you somehow psycho and believed that studying late into the night make you HARDWORKING. oh hell yeah...
how powerful is our brain when all want to is just sleep our ass off. doh~

3. does it really helps?
one day after a library mugging session. i was beginning to think....
eh i mug my ass off, but does it really contribute to a better grade?
how many extra 1 or 2 marks will i get through all these thousand hours of mugging?
somehow i think, the correlation is minimal.
we don't have a mugging ticker. so prof don't grade you on how long u mug
so why do we mug so hard?
arh....the guilty conscience has does its magic again.

well to conclude...erm...
exam sucks.
hah!
but never mind, holidays here...
Christmas is around the corner.
and during this period you somehow feel that snow might just fall in our tropical country.
cheers!

The old times

To mark the coming celebration of the 10 years that we have been together, here's a series of gifts coming from me. Those born in 1985-1990, don't deny these are "classics" and will probably be played in Mambo Jambo nights in the future, hah!

Then we grew up a little...

Grew up a little bit more...

Realised our follies...

And now we are stuck...

Cheerios~

Winter

It's a moody, gloomy time of the year when the rains, not snow, come to our 'sunny island'.

The so called 'holiday seasons', for us lonely bastards it's the time to whine about how our lives suck and everything else.

Not only have the bus prices went up, but so have the ERP charges.
Please don't blame the government.
It's the holiday season, we all need some extra money.

And hell yeah i agree with Bryan. Every morning i have to wait around 15 minutes for a bus if i'm lucky. If not i'd have to wait around half an hour for a bus. So what the fuck am i paying more money to the bus companies for when i have to wait half a fucking hour for a bus then squeeze on to the bus with every other mother father's son for another half hour to reach my work place? And this is on a weekday. For weekends usually i'd have to wait around half an huor to 45 minutes for a bus, why? Because of a lack of bus drivers? Maybe we should get some foreign bus driving talents.

Even without snow and the lack of sunshine, winter still does things to our brain. Scientifically proven that the lack of sunshine makes people more depressing tho. Oh wow it just started raining. Maybe thats why em vikings were such savage and brutal fighters, they were depressed. Being in such a mood constantly can not be good for you.

Well, yeah, i think i did a post last year around this period of time about how much i hate this season cos of lots of reasons, guess they stay the same. Usually i hate life in general, this season just makes me hate it more ya...

For all those with exams and stuff, hang tight on the raley ya?

Rant rant.

Winter has come.

There's some discussion going round Singapore lately, and it all has to do with our MM Lee's declaration that it only takes twenty minutes to get from one corner of our dear island to another corner.

Twenty minutes! 20! Excuse me uncle, are you living on the correct island or not?

I wait 20 mintues waiting for SMRT Service 171 from Woodlands Interchange every morning at 0730hrs! Peak hour hor...

It takes me 20 bloody minutes for the bus to crawl from the Salvation Army bus stop along Upper Bukit Timah to the one opposite King Albert Park. And another 20 minutes to my final destination at ACS Barker Road!

Eh uncle, who are you trying to bluff??? Maybe one day, the whole government should just take public transport to wherever they are going, during peak hour. Do not notify SBS or SMRT for that matter, so that they could put out more buses/services just for show/to impress/to cast delusions of granduer, on that SPECIAL SPECIAL day only.

If you are late for parliament, please, sack yourselves.
