It's time of the year again when...
roses experience a spike in demand,
the supermarket runs out of your favourite chocolates and candy bars,
only to find that chocolates have experienced record high inflation at Candy Empire and the likes,
restaurants strictly cater for two,
queues at Mini Toons, Precious Thots and other gift stores snake further than when Singapore Pools declaring the pot is worth millions,
and when suckers all over the Singapore decide to love and irritatingly share their love with innocent bystanders(ie, singles) on public tranport, Orchard Road, The Esplanade and all other spots on this island that spans only 30+km from "coast to coast".
Valentine's Day. A day when there are only two possible outcomes. Either one scores or one gets his/her heart trampled and crushed worse than a herd of elephants stampeding across an anorexic's skinny ass.
Wouldn't it be better if humans were just asexual beings.
And people, if you do not want to get stunnered by your friend declaring he is attached to someone within 2 sips of that bi-weekly coffee affair...
MOVE YOUR BLOODY ARSE AND WORK HARDER.
Might actually keep one in the pink of health too, may I add...
