1+1 = (Part II)
I promised weeks ago that 1+1 = (Part II) will be out before Valentine's Day. Well, Im late but better late than never. Its like a delayed orgasm, tension and what not builds up, leading to an uber explosion and release of ***** and untold pleasures. Good things are definitely worth waiting for.
So let's cut to the chase and allow me to present the pros and cons of NOT being attached. This will be a quickie, indeed.
THE GOOD:
(1.) Having tons of time to hang out with family and friends. Sometimes being with just one person is too boring and stifling. Think of the rounds of big laughter and groupie love at Zheng Fa Live Seafood. Cannot tahan ok! There is no fixed period or timing during the day or night which has to blocked off for "commitments"
(2.) Speaking of commitments, you have literally little or no commitments. And no reporting of whereabouts to that someone.
(3.) Getting down and dirty, lip locking with some stranger or getting caught with the pants/skirts down during club/pubs nightouts are not a problem and is without apprehension.
(4.) Able to have quality time for personal growth. Without such, one will be a dumbass the rest of his/her life. And this is possible without the incessant phone/sms rings.
(5.) The freedom to appreciate (or even further pursue) the creme de la creme of the other sex without the risk of being chastised or breaking up(!!!). There is a chinese saying which states there is a mountain even higher than the current one. Same meaning applies for your current flame, hotshot. But if the current flame allows and particpates in such screening of the finer arts, a threesome or more is definitely in the pipeline.
THE BAD:
(1.) Basically the reversals of THE GOOD as stated in PART I of this series of post.
THE UGLY:
(1.) Ending up a lonely asses bastards blogging(bitching acutallu) about such issues. Hur Hur.
With this, I wrap up the 2 episode series of 1+1 =. Facing a problem after reading this? No worries lah. The best option is to have a Non Commital Relationship. You can have the best of both worlds then. What a deal huh. Stay tuned next feb for another round of..debate and study about relationships.
See ya~

if you got it...flaunt it!
so in the meantime, to keep whoever visit here entertained, moi shall post something...erm quite bastard.
So let's all hail the mini-skirts. i gotta say from our point of view that it's probably one of the most entertaining, most exhilarating, most eye-catching, most talkabout, most WAH! topic among us. To all girls with gorgeous, slim, well-toned, firm, fair, long, smooth legs...i sincerely thank you all. THANK YOU! the little skirt or pants that you all put on has certainly enhances the valued asset that you all possess. Personally, i adore girls with pretty legs. When all you out there walk pass us, it indeed add some spice to our pathetic life. WAH! our 1st reaction, followed by a few seconds of stares and then we start talking about it. if you got it, flaunt it! shucks, i sound like a lecher now. ladies who read this will have a second thoughts about my psycho now. But...what the hell! i am merely stating the fact. All normal guys react this way and i am just brave enough to express my personal opinions. C'mon...guys will definitely be nodding away(i hope).
erm, as for ladies with 'not so nice' asset. i shall keep the comments to myself. but jus by the last sentence, i will sound completely, totally, incorrigibly, absolutely, thoroughly bastard. ah~ whatever. A word of advice though (to all girls), be very, extremely, careful when you all are travelling up the escalator in ur pretty skirts...er-hem~
well, i will end here. ladies who read and are not happy will probably b swearing and cursing me now. ah but i just wanna post something...mini-skirts...swing-swing.
Money. Time. Wank. Life.
Well Chinese New Year is coming to an end, quite the same as all other years for me except that i had less time to celebrate. And I haven't touched a mahjong set this whole new year... yet. Anyway with the end of the Chinese New Year it signifies the coming of exams for the people in uni and back to work for all the other wankers. This is quite significant for the 3 of us bastards i guess. XuXian is back to school with his many projects and many chais. Bryan is going to school too, however it's to ACS to work. And he hasn't entered SMU, yet. For me it's back to camp, another 2 more weeks and the understudies come and it's time to kick back, relax and find a job. going for a job fair thingie this Saturday, but i heard the job offers are all about security.
With all of us bastards walking down different paths in life, it's kinda hard to keep together anymore. Most important of all i think is the willingness to stick together. Every time something is organized the response is pathetic. Sure all of us come from different backgrounds, have different interests. But I'm sure there are still things to bring us together. Why do i say it's the 'willingness' to stick together? Because people aren't willing to fork out time, nor willing to try new stuff, nor willing to mix around more. People always say 'But i don't like to do this-or-that' or 'I don't like to mix around with so-and-so'. Everything changes, be more adaptable! A simple question, how can you not like something if you have never tried it? I learnt this lesson after being an anti-clubber for my 3 years in poly. Even after my first clubbing experience i still did not like it. My second time was much more fun and now I'm a social clubber and have learnt my lesson well.
Money. Time. Wank (Work). Life. Even though Bryan, XuXian and I don't exactly have the money nor the time, we still try to meet up once a week or so just to 'window shop' and chill. When i refer to 'the bastards', i no longer see it as a class whose spirit never faltered, i only see 3 lone bastards who never gave up their 'relationship'.
I'd really like to end this post by telling everyone to cherish their friends and stick together even if they don't cherish the friendship. But honestly, if they don't give a fuck, why should you? Same goes for any kind of relationship.
No picts this time, stay tuned however for Bryan's long awaited 1+1 Part 2 and some upcoming picts from this Chinese New Year gathering. Ciao for now.

Prosperity, Luck, Fortune for the New Year...who can forget the food.
eh but other than the food and ang pao...i guess chinese new year is quite boring. Visiting relatives have become a chore as older generation just sit in one corner stoning away, while our parents chat happily about what they did for the past year. Somehow, our ear perk up when they say "ah it's getting late, we got elsewhere to go..." wah finally.... then we come out from our little hide out and stick out hand out with a smile when they hand us the little red packet that we just wanted. heh heh...
Well, anyway...i think many of us still enjoy the new year. So enjoy yourself the next few days and do remember to drink water after those heaty goodies. Ah~ and also do work off those fats, cholesterols that you have accumulated. woot~~

Just another day...
Overrated it really is. Over-rated roses, over-rated chocolate, over-rated dinner, over-rated greetings. Stuffs today seem really over-priced and over-regarded. so true eh... All these stuffs are so much expected on the 14th of Feb that it is neither a surprise nor special anymore. On the other hand, these stuffs are so much under-rated during normal days. Popping a rose, a delightful bag of chocolate, a simple sincere greetings, on a plain, old normal day will certainly be much more appreciated. Really.
Special occasion ain't special any more. V-Day seem more 'valentine' on any other day other than 14 Feb. ok, many may feel that this sound like a case of sour grapes. still, when you are bored and have nothing to ponder over, what i posted today is not wrong at all.
So, do take care all you out there. Drink lotsa herbal tea during the upcoming CNY to prevent heatyness. ulcer and sore throat aint that comfortable...
Cheers~

you better watch out..cause
Dinner's all over the floor now..bummer.
For all the lovebirds out there, lucky you ah. All the best too. May you stay relatively rich and thus remain attached. Don't let it be said Im one jealous piece of shit, heh heh.
Anyway, to all my fellow SINGLE brothers and sisters out there, do not despair. There are things for you on this day as well. You can always go to a restaurant or dining place with your buddies, make hell lotta of noise and generally disturb, interrupt and irritate the couples out there. You can always crawl into bed with a nice book like The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and learn that there is much more to life than finding and having that special one. If you really want someone to bonk(which i suspect is the real motive for the modern valentined), hop down to Geyland, Keong Siak or any suspicious tui na shop lor.
To round it off, let me dedicate a song to all singletons out there. Emotional Weather Report by Tom Waits. Let it teach you that life is like the weather, there will be good and bad days, there will always be a new day ahead.
And in the spirit of Valentine's Day(which i barely wanna acknowlege), here is something special for you all...

The wind in my hair. The sand in my eye.
It happened on a bright sunny morning, just like every other bright sunny morning in Singapore nowadays. The ones where me and Pang are either busy or lacking in money to wakeboard in, damn it. Anyway, i was in camp this specific day walking down the road back to the office to get some stuff. As usual depressing thoughts just jumped to mind. The usual 'What is our purpose in life?' question haunted me. Sure i was enjoying the pleasant wind on such a hot day, but it just made me think more about why was life the way it is. Other such depressing thoughts came to join in the party in my head of course.
Then suddenly it hit me. No not a 5 toner, but a grain of sand. Straight in the eye. Instantly what jumped to mind was, "Hey, the sun is shining, the wind is blowing. You're alive, healthy and well to do compared to other people, wtf are you complaining about? Enjoy the breeze you bastard." It was quite a surprising thought since usually my normal mental reaction to said incident would be "F*CK. F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK!"
Anywho, that was just a one time reaction. Shortly after enjoying the breeze i got back to being the same old depressing me. This whole experience taught me something tho. There are good times and there are bad times. Just try to treasure what you have and fight for what you don't, never just 'try to make do' or give up on yourself. Even tho in the end, we'll all still die, try to enjoy life while we can.
Guess I'll end this post with a picture since Pang says it's all the craze about picture blogging nowadays and we don't seem to be getting many comments or hits...

MERRY BIRTHDAY!
Monday, February 05, 2007
1 + 1 =
Therefore, yours truly has decided to come up with a mini study of having or not having that love of your life. The pros and the cons. The bliss and hardship. The...whatever. I shall strive to be bipartisan, fair and not myopic nor biased despite my hardcore bastard and single status.
THE POSITIVES OF HAVING A BF/GF:
(1.) Having that exclusive shoulder or whichever body part one prefers to cry on.
(2.) Having that exclusive someone to celebrate Valentine's Day(urgh) with.
(3.) Having that exclusive someone to shower your love/wealth with.
(4.) Able to walk down Orchard Road and snub those lonely assed souls by wrapping your arms around the waist of that exclusive one/making out on public transport/shielding your loved one by standing and not budging on the crowded bus while he or she seats on the aisle seat
(5.) Photowhore with your loved one then put it up on your blog or friendster with loud declarations of "I Love You" or "Sweet Baby" kind of tags. Three exclamation marks following such declarations are optional.
(6.) Actually having a reason to watch sappy/comedic romance movies.
(7.) Doing dumb things like queing for 4hrs and more for Donut Factory edibles to indulge the loved one.
(8.) Have someone to plan your birthdays.
THE NEGATIVES OF HAVING A BF/GF:
(1.) To a certaint extent, the chances of being left poor will dramatically increase.
(2.) And when becoming poor, chances of being single will too dramatically increase.
BUT THEN, WHEN IN LOVE WHERE GOT NEGATIVE ONE?! LOVE CONQUERS ALL HOR. LOVE BLINDS AND SUFFOCATES BUT STILL ONE WILL FEEL DAMN...SONG!
So this will bring us to the end of part 1 of 1+1 =, where we unravel the good, the bad and the missing ugly of having a partner. Next, in a couple of hours or days hopefully, part 2 of 1+1 = will be out in time before Valentine's Day(urgh) where we explore the good, the bad and the ugly of NOT having a partner.
Till then, take care and stay home, cause Valentine's Day is coming...

Festive Season Once Again...
And well on the 14th is the upcoming yearly International Friends(or Friendship, forgot which one) Day, or in other words, Valentines Day. Maybe it's the fact that i have hated this day for the past 21 years that prevents me from actually letting go of this hatred. Or maybe cos i'm on duty on that day and the girl i asked out on the eve has other commitments. Anyway, yeah, Valentines day. A day to remind people without partners that they are alone. Thus coming up with the International Friendship Day thingie i guess. Doesn't make much of a difference if you ask me, people will still think it's bullshit and a lousy day. Or maybe it's just me. F*ck it all anyway, stupid Valentines day, flowers*mutter mutter* chocolate *curse & swear* dinner, BAH!
Well enough of ranting on the first upcoming crappy 'holiday' and on to the next, Chinese New Year! A time to wear new stuff, collect red packets, gamble, gather/reunite and overall just enjoy. Oh joy i'm spending majority of Chinese New Year in camp. At least i got quite a bit of new clothes this year, not really satisfying tho since it cut my budget so much that i couldn't wakeboard for the next few weeks... Love my new jacket, will try to post a pict of some new stuff that we bastards have bought for the new year since we all know how boring blogs are without pictures.
Oh and i think lastly would be the numerous birthdays of 06 personnel which are in February and early March. Joy.
So with such numerous joyous occasions this month who wouldn't be happy?
Other than me i guess. Morale at an all time low.
Anywho, take care and have fun.

Bastard?
So what's the definition of bastards? And why would anyone in the right mind call themselves bastard. Many questioned the name of this aimless blog. Well, those we know us long, long, long enough will definitely and without a doubt know that we deserve this 'title' and 'accolade' knighted upon us during secondary school days. We are proud about it.
So what define us as a bastard. Hmmm... if you know any of us as an individual, the traits of a bastard will not be obvious. Basically, we are normal guy trying to survive in this dog eat dog world. We will/may be seen as a nice, quiet and sensible individual self. However, those who know us after a period of time will guarantee notice the little traits and characteristics that mark a true bastard.
Some of them will be as follow:
-overwhelming vulgarity from SOME our mouth
-cracking lame, cold and senseless jokes (we are good at this, give us a situation and it'll become a joke among us. Just ask the uncle that serve kopi living above Siong's house)
-talking about chim terms and lingos that only we know
-laughing at someone short-coming (when we are the one that don't have any strengths)
-selfish and many a times inconsiderate
-cynical "aiyah...."
-loud
-don't give a damn about what other think of us. we are who we are
-sometimes we like to act tough when we are timid at heart
-all talk and no actions
-POOR, very poor
Yes these are what you can see. When we come together as a group, you will truely know and believe that we are a group of bastards. These characteristics will shine like a invincible aura for us. (hey but we are not ah beng, at least we know we have better dress sense and thoughts than them). Many say, girls like bad guy. Judging by the 'attached' figures, I would say that make us good guys. Erm, this particular figure is on the rise, and there is this particular example who seem pretty attractive to 'young' girls (everyone know who's Hiong). Well, situation does change just like how policeman don't wear berms now.
So if you know any of us, don't be afraid ok. At least you know we are 'not bad' and we bastards are real and have true personalites. We don't hide, you will hear what you need to hear and see what you need to see. We are not fake. Above all, many of us are true good friends which you can trust and rely on. Need some lame humour, we are in. If you want to join this particular group, sad to say. Unlikely. (:

Denial...
There is no definition to life, no exact meaning in fact. When you look up that old, thick, trusty dictionary or type 'life' into the miraculous google search box, the result don't exactly answer your question. Some people just keep thinking about what life is, while some just live it. For me, for some of us, we just keep thinking. My train of thought doesn't really have a final destination, so somehow it just keep moving, keep thinking. Thinking about what? I don't exactly know either, sometimes I just hope that it run out of steam so I can just heave a breath of relief, which have no result either.
See we just don't understand why we breathe, why we sigh, why take in that precious oxygen. Life is full of so many shit, too many undesired greed. It's like a paradox, a contradiction. Something no one really can grasp, always flowing, never static but regardless of its form, we are all living it.
That's why it seem that there is no answer to everything, even simple logic like 1+1 may not equal 2(ask stan why). So, that's why I try not to put an absolute to everything, at times I speak with intention more than what I implied and only I understand the underlying meaning. No one need to understand what the other side actually mean, otherwise that will really sucks. Just live your life the way you see it, like it or not. One lifetime ain't very long, ponder too much and you will miss out what you not ponder. Regard too much and you disregard more than what you regard. Nevertheless, our train of thought is still important. It keeps you sound, mindful and sensible. Everyone only need an ending terminal.
Life is enchanted. Almost all of us are captivated, spellbound and mesmerised. We shouldn't deny, might be better this way. Disenchantment comes only when you take in your last breath.

the back of 2006
Its been a long time coming. Year 2007 has arrived, rather belatedly for this piece of blogging corner at least. Well, better late than never..so, Happy New Year~~
2006 was a milestone year, namely for the fact that I have freakin' ROD from the k-n-n-m-e-c-c-b-w-t-f-t-m-d(check the up coming dictionary v2 for explantion) SAF. Wahaha! No more being owned by muthafuckers all right. Also, 2006 has seen me earned serious cash, went to Taiwan for the first independent holiday without the parents(may it live long and prosper till they decide to go somewhere fun), earned more serious cash and buying a Xbox 360 and Samsung 19" Syncmaster 931BF. Now can you dig that, bastard?!
Year 2007 has seen some changes for me at least. Now Im jobless, having sacked myself before my previous company could sack me. I have seen such a disastrous end coming since November, when the ex boss accused me of being a major slack. I will be the first to admit that Im rather slack at times but major slack Im not. But anyway anyhow, its over and by a long time too.
Thus now Im trying to readjust to no job life, which means sleeping at 0200 and waking up at 1000, which isn't a very bad thing. At least I still wake at relatively normal hours. Daily routine includes 'wanking' my Xbox 360 and the new lcd monitor and trying to put in decent study time. Key word being trying.
So I wonder what 2007 would bring me. A new job? More retro and introspect on life? However, the definite pressing issues would be the darn studying/exams and my birthday. I think I will need a brand new being. A major overhaul of the body and the mind. Major major work and help is due in this really...'grey' area. Just ask Doris, she knows it since what...J1? Heh heh...
And zero comments on the lovelife bit. Very non-commital and very very no chance of anything happening.
Seriously.

300+...
A couple of weeks have passed and 300+ days wait 2007. Basically, bastard like me don't really have much resolution for the year but still I do have something I wish for this year.
Erm, getting a gf aint really a concern or resolution, in case some of the bastards get concern. Well anyway, life's really simple for a retard like me. I mentioned before that Friends Rock my World and Hell yeah! I just wanna be happier this year and this goes to the rest of my friends who happen (lucky or unlucky) to know this bastard call xuxian. I just wanna do the thing I like... drinking coffee, slacking, mahjong, watch soccer, play tennis, wakeboard, reading the live update jokebook(muahahaha!), feasting on eye candies, talking about eye candies and well more candies or chocoloate to eat. I hope whoever can, just make all these come true this year. Hey hey, I hope to strike 4D top prize real soon man. I bring someone luck by giving out the ticket why can't I have the luck myself. I've been a good boy karma may treat me abit better this year. *shrug.
Well, GOOD LUCK my friends and fellow bastards. Do remember to do abit for charity, Singapore Pools is always open for us!

First Post!
It's finally 2007, another 5 months or so to my ORD date (not inclusive of leave and off) and i'm actually kind of scared of going back to being a civillian. No more government to pay me money to slack, no more free food free lodging but most importantly, no more government to screw me in the ass. Whee! I think i feel like almost every other NSF, "I just wasted 2 years of my time..."
But oh well, it's the new year and thus new beginnings i guess.
Thanks to the 'Post Holidays Blues' most everybody is in a lethargic mood. Couldn't even find enough people for a mahjong session. Some people don't even bother to reply, i won't mention names but it's the bastard with the winged-animal-like-nose. And going out nowadays is such a chore thanks to people having monetary problems, time problems and 360 problems. Can't blame them tho, it's all a part of life man... So i end up trying to whip myself into shape and playing dota, such lifeless boring solo activities.
Since it's a new year and i haven't fulfilled my yearly same resolution since 2003's new year, i guess this year my new year's resolution is gonna be kinda easier. This year i resolute to live a healthier lifestyle, get into better shape and become more pro at wakeboarding. So much easier than stopping my pessimistic views towards life, live happier and getting a girlfriend right?

Friendship.
A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
Basically that's the general definition of a friend, dictionary meaning is sometimes vague and unclear. "A person whom one......" Well, so is friendship a "one-way only" or a "two-way traffic" I wonder most of the times in fact. This world is practical and often too materialistic to be realistic. Give and take is what most people presume and this logic undermine the meaning of friendship. One friend maybe giving all the time while the other friend just take without realising that this so called "friendship" is going in one direction. So is this call "friendship"? or is there another term for it? Well I don't know.
As for us, this particular group of people, the 06 bastards, are we friends? hah! I am not sure. Maybe not, now I think. Similarly, we also have people who are always taking and people who are always giving but that's not really the point anymore. Somehow rather we have accepted this fact, I got to say we know each other sometimes much more than we know our family. We just know what one bastard wanna say/do before he even know what he can say/do. Huh? ok i will give some example...
-Before Mr. eagle nose wanna pull his nose skin and say something... some of us will already start saying about it and he will think twice about pulling that eagle-like nose of his.
-Sometimes, the joke already start when we look at each other and start laughing like kuku before we even speak a word.
-When a MHBP walk by, either me or stan will say "MHBP" before dear bryan utters the four alphabets.
So is this "friendship"? Well I don't think so. But I have got a term for our relationship... "Bastardship" sounds much better...

Love...not actually
Another Christmas and this year was alone in my room while my family is out somewhere... dunno where. Kinda sucks...to make it worse I am watching "Love Actually", seeing kisses...hugs erm more kisses and hugs. Well, none make love (argh~). You know...it's probably a nice show with a happy ending, as everyone ended up with someone else, even the old christmas rocker has his fat manager for Christmas.
Forget it. Stan would probably agree with me as we both are complaining, lamenting about this lousy show that we just watch on our lonely Christmas night. Sucks~ I can't even think of a girl that I want to confess to, she doesn't even exist. yawn~~ nvm I think I'll just hug my beloved bolster and pillow and make love to my lovely blanket.
To all friends of this blog... WE ROCK!
cheers to 2007!

Honourable mentions go out to Forver Love by Wang Lee Hom and Superwoman by Cao Ge though. And needless to say, top whatever lists always stirs up a hornet's nets but then again...oh nevermind.
Bitching is always healthy but not about rain and more rain. Like how much can one bitch about rain and rain that hardly stops for two continous days? Give it a break, complement instead of competing.
Do stay tuned for Jan's Top 5s list. I only serve to please...master/mistress...
