Back from HongKong, still as depressing.

After 5 days and 4 nights in Hong Kong, i'm finally back from the land which never sleeps. Damnit i have no idea what the people do there so late at night. 3am in the morning and still there are people walking around. It felt so weird last night around midnight when i reached home in my parent's car, looked around to see hardly anybody on the road. Hey maybe cos it's a Monday night right? Well them youngsters in Hong Kong apparently don't really care whatever night it is...

Well more about the trip less about my curiosity to their lifestyle. First 2 days and 1 night was spent in the Hollywood Disney Hotel, not the Disney Hotel. Quite a major difference if you ask me so take note if you ever head over there. Well yeah so i spent the majority of my first 2 days in Disneyland. Lots of taking pictures, buying stuff and eating expensive food. It was fun kinda fun tho, quite an experience. I know i've been to Disneyland America before but i don't remember the trip cos i was still young. Disney overall was quite fun, i'd rate it around 3.5/5 for all the fun time i had walking around taking pictures of practically everything and buying expensive souvenirs, hah.

After checking out from the hotel we headed down to Mong Kok to find our hostel. The first outlook of the hostel was kinda... disappointing. Well it was located in an old building, small room for 4 guys and just couldn't compare to the hotel at Disney. But hey, after the first night it became quite a cozy place to stay at. Since we already did quite abit of shopping at Disney, it was time to do alot more. After settling down in the hostel we immediately headed out for a sumptuous and cheap 'lunch' then went to Tsim Sha Tsui to walk the Avenue of Stars and catch the Symphony of Lights. Then a fast dinner and off to Temple Street and ended off at the Ladies Market which was right opposite our hostel. Well overall we spent most of the 3 days which were not in Disney running around Hong Kong eating, shopping, eating, shopping. At least we achieved what we set out to eat, woot. Kinda disappointed that i didn't really buy alot of stuff actually... And after reading one of my friend's msn nick i finally understood why i felt so depressed on the plane last night. His nick reads 'It is a rule, that after every new experience, one wakes up the next day feeling a sense of loss.' Made quite alot of sense to me and why i felt how i felt. Regrets and a tinge of sadness for all the things i missed out, the expected hype yet lack of it and overall just the little stuff.

Guess i should try to look forward to all the good stuff to come and keep the happy memories eh? Kinda hard when you're lost and yet stumbling into unchartered territories. The peaceful times and secure 'job' in the SAF is over and soon i will have my freedom back just to sell it to another. What to do i know not. Chill?

traffic.work.lunch.WA!

It can be a real torture having to haul my bloody ass out of my bed 7am in the morning everyday considering that it's school holiday. Brush my teeth with eyes half open and wake myself up with a cold shower. *shiver. Then drag my feet down to the bus stop and Miss. 190 is such a popular bitch that everyone is waiting to get on her. Turtles crawl on BKE and most of the time I am ass-on-ass with a fat guy. damn.

ZZzzzz, then i saw the puking-lion and i know life will turn for the better. Off i go as i shield my eyes against the welcoming sun! The day has started...out of fullerton underground. A taxi stopped...WA! nice legs...WA! short. WA! tight. WA! tube! WA! WA! *blink *blink. Enter Raffles Place. WAAaaaaa!

I love lunch time. I enjoy it even though i am alone all the time. The scenery is beautiful and bountiful. Do not doubt it. This freaking place thrash Orchard and Suntec in the weekend. Weekend are days when eye candies go easy and sloppy, when they are at work these candies are so nicely wrap you dun even care what they taste like. You just drool over by looking. The spicy lunch sun make them lose their blazers and jackets, add an exciting side dish of tight skirts and heels, lunch is unbelievably tasty. YUM~

C'mon down! if you have nothing better to do...grab a $1 ice-cream, sit down in the middle of the square. then the day will be of no regrets.
*Applicable to both male and female.

A review

I dare to admit that I am quite a fan of Spiderman. It was my favourite cartoon, I had spiderman comic and an album full of Spiderman collectible cards. Parker's cynicism and nonchalant attitude impress me even when I was young.

Then came the movie...1st was ok. 2nd was bad. NOW...Zzzzzzz.
Parker's cynicism was clearly missing in the 1st movie. Then he suddenly he took off his mask and annouce "HELLO NY! Spiderman is Parker and M.J. forgive my MIA cause u love me kissing u upside down" damn... it ain't suppose to be lidat. Oh ya...just in case, MJ is not Parker top choice. Gwen Stacy was Parker true 1st love who died when green goblin kidnapped her and killed her. Then came Felicia, Parker's crush and after that finally it's Mary Jane Watson. Oh yes green goblin next, Harry Osborne is not some cool looking dude as like in the movie. He's a failure, a druggie.

The character's origin totally screwed up big time and so was the plot. Half way through, I couldnt stand Maguire's acting. How did Raimi come up with the idea that the symbiote cause Parker to become horny and show off his Saturday Night Fever moves. About the symbiote, it doesnt just fall from the sky. The truth was that it came to Earth with J. Jonah Jameson's son, yes the astro that MJ almost got married to on Spiderman 2.

Damn the movie, damn Hollywood. When did Spiderman become some emo guy always crying for Aunt May and MJ. 1/5 for the movie. The only thing cool was the symbiote and venom. Please note, it just the symbiote and venom (the guy acting as Eddie Brock sucks). ARGH~

recipe for love or disaster?

1 old schoolmate/friend you haven't thought about in years, the new packaging...since there are so many rumours about that person.
1 love interest you're still not sure whether you're over or not.
2-5 of your closest friends.
80g of your fantasies, dreams and/or inspirations.
125ml of all the places you have the most intense memories of; whether good or bad.
a pinch of your current favourite songs/books/movies.
a dash of your average emotional state.
a hefty dollop of shadowy unknowns.

marinate your love interest in fantasies, dreams and/or inspiration thoroughly and leave to soak. slice the old schoolmate in small pieces and proceed to roast in your oven with shadowy unknowns and favourites on the side. after 1 hour, move the roasts and marinate into a frying pan and add your average emotional state, turning the pieces over once. stir fry until all moisture is gone, then add the closest friends and places of memory. stir intensely for 2 minutes before turning up the heat and covering the pan for 5 minutes. ingest slowly, over the period of one night.

Not again......

Damn...
Back track a few months back in Nov 2006, i post something about 4D and remember this picture...

Yes...this ticket was many months where my friend strike consolation prize after i gave her the 'OAS' to bet on after my 4D presentation. The number was 0211.

Damn again. On Nov 2006 it was consolation. BUT on this very day, 2 May 2007, 0211 came out as a top prize. When i came back from work and saw 0211 staring at me copied down by my dad, i was dumb-founded for a couple of seconds. Aaaaaaaaaa, another chance miss. And i don't think my friend bought this time around. i certainly cant believe i would see 0211 again, much less seeing it coming out as a top prize.

I think it's time i start t o trust this number. 0211. damn. u bite mi hard this time....

turning into night

After a period of rough seas and heavy rain, one would expect a rainbow shining overhead. Not for me. All I want is tranquility and sweet music.

Exams are coming in a week's time. I've only just realise how screwed this semester has been. So screwed that I have begun saving up for an unofficial fourth term. 7k wasted on this term...should have known better. Now to work towards a successful third term so that I will not officially screw myself all over.

Kids are damn amusing/fcuked up sometimes. Today I cam to know of a P5 who is crushing rather heavily on this female teacher. Ok la, she is quite pretty, the kind guys will glady take home to meet the parents. Quintessential girl next door lah. So I enquired about her lah with a couple of P6 boys. Suddenly, they start declaring that I like her! I was like, "No lah. She married already. Don't like her anyway, can't like her. Don't want to spoil a happy marriage(AS IF!!!)." "Sir, don't bluff us". " "Really, I got girlfriend(which I don't have and will not have I suppose in the near and far future)..come come, I show you."

So off I went to friendster and bedek bedek show them some pictures of my female friends la, just so to throw them off the trail(and not create gossip of me in the school). Then they turn around and say, "Sir!!! So you got girlfriend and like Miss T**."

To quote my dear friend 'oNg': NABEIZ JIB*E!!! Si ginna, don't talk so much LPJW lah. KNN... Of course not out loud la, I still want to eat rice leh.

Why am I so not like them when I was young??? Or was I?

Oh, and to those who frequent this piece of crap blog, do keep 16/05/07 free. Cause we are gonna Mambo. And you better follow the Jumbo. With us. Chais only.

Actually not chai also can. Just come la, cause Xuxian opening bottle! Hahahah!

on holiday!

First, I got to say that I am really enjoying my holidays at the moment.
the past week has been great. and many ntu and nus friends maybe hating me at the moment.
waking up late, watching every single of my fav tv shows, dota all day, lazing all day is simply too too too great at the moment. Damn~ life never feels so good. while blogging this post, i am watching MSU2007, that Jessica Tan is smoking my eyes. phew~
at the same time, federer and nadal is having yet another showdown at the final of Monte Carlo. this is damn cool.
Reality check! (darn.)
ok yes i have to find a job this week. i'll stop being fussy and grab any that come to me, at least one with a ok pay. i realise wakeboarding is too addictive to stop, i have to do it every week. well, i am not so lucky, as some of my friends actually got sponsor to wake. arh well, life's great but seldom fair. but that's ok eh~
anyway cheers to holidays! a deserved and beautiful season where everyone celebrate. until then, i shall wait to feel the wonderful tile of 9 strokes.

Tears for the departed.

I just received news that an online friend of mine, of around 8-9 years, has passed away.

Her nick was Demorea, her name was Mara.

Not only did she teach me the ways of the game but she taught me the ways of life too.

Damn cancer.

I never met her in real life, neither did i speak to her through a phone.

She never told me about her condition, or maybe cos i didn't have a chance to speak to her for over a year or so.

She was a true friend like all of my 'online friends' who did not care how i looked but cared for what i was.

Now i regret. For not talking to her, not telling her how much i missed talking to her, not telling her how much i loved her as a friend and mentor before she left.

Now i drink. To her memory which will live on forever within me and all her friends.

Now i mourn. For she has left and the world is lacking in one beautiful person who made a difference.

I have not shed tears for a very long time, but now they fall for a true friend which i will never forget.

This night i mourn.

My life will never be the same again.

In loving memory of Demorea/Mara, mentor and friend. You shall be remembered forever.
Love Stanley a.k.a Mil

wah lao eh~~

wah lao eh! finally, all the ordeals seemed to be over. my exam has finally ended (not so for ntu and nus), stan mounting his last 2 wks of duty and bryan....erm wanking his 360 hard as usual (pun and everything included).

So it's means reward time...Yes! BBQ time. Well, the turnout was bad as many bastards are still having exams and many of stan's and bryan's friends decide to turn pilot and put aeroplane.

the pit!

goosing around

funky, monkey ipod

pool side - del mar style
still, with the good food, drinks, and music! it's the ALMOST perfect combination. yes, almost the perfect combination. from the picture you can see what's the one last crucial factors that's missing. ya, we still seriously lack chais. Damn it...but still cheers for bbq!

musically

Have you ever heard a song on the radio, the internet, your mp3 player on random and had memories flooding back? The song that makes you remember of events, the song that makes you think of someone. The favourite song which you won't forget as it represents so much, the attainble, the anguish, the pain, that gushy moment...

I was playing my iPod nano on random, a couple of songs hit. Boy, did those memories came back. Those songs...

Dying Inside to Hold You by Timmy Thomas: Reminded me of that time in JC, when I kinda really liked this girl. And this song played when we were having lunch at Black Canyon Coffee. And things...blahhhhhhhh, whatever...

Brighter Than Sunshine by Aqualung: Pre-armaggedon period regarding the above mentioned JC period.

What Can I Do by The Corrs: Post armaggedon period regarding the above mentioned JC period.

Lost in Emotion by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam: My first ever Mambo Night song! Woot woot~~

Gasolina by Daddy Yankee: Impact song in Phuture. Woot woot woo~~

Majullah Singapura by ????: First piece of music heard upon arrival on Pulau Tekong.

Say Hello by Deep Dish: One of the favourites on non Hip-Hop R&B nights out.

And finally...

Good Morning, Teacher! by Aiyoyo Lao Shi: Don't deny this song is an impact playa!!!

So, what's your music memory?

totally randomized - final (pang)

Well if you think that the 3 of us decide on the title of the post, we didn't. Past 2 weeks have been hectic, rushing overnights to finish my project and exam is on-going currently. Basically, too many thoughts overwhelmed me...sigh~

And ya, 'gay' has been pretty much the talkabout lately, though do not doubt the 3 of us. We're are perfectly on the right track, neither crooked nor effeminate. As I see this group of people, just treat them normally as long as we ain't the target. they're normal just tat they prefer it that way.

Holidays is next week, I need a job to substantiate my expense and passion. the next 3 months is pretty vague now at this point of time......

I think I need to know what I want. my emotion and rational thoughts clashed, making life terrible but this is so due to me being too free and bored and contented.

Maybe, I think, I should....arh~ whatever....

But that's life, the boredom, the confused, the lost, the happiness, the discontent, the unwanted, the desire, the every every 'lil things... otherwise, wouldn't it be monotonous.

Yesss love...
I love my family. I love all my friends. I love my passion. sometimes not myself though. but still I heart them, for without them I am nothing, we are nothing.

totally randomized part 2 (stan)

$50 and above T-shirts. For fashion or is it really just plain ripping off? But hell it looks nice... *blink*

I have 'uncovered' the fact that some people i know which i thought were straight are gay. And their gay partners are each other i think. It has brought me some sleepless nights due to the fact that i had no idea and the shock has not worn off.

I feel lonely at times but then i remind myself of all the bullshit that a relationship brings about.

Drinking does not stop you from thinking, it just prevents you from thinking straight. Sure as hell lets you have a good night sleep tho.

Motorcycles are cool. Sucks when you think so and you don't even know how to ride a bicycle.

When it's your time to go you should go. Even after more than a year of bullshit from superiors and a whole bunch of idiotism to suck up, I'll still miss the place.

There goes my glass of Black Label neat, now i shall have to refill it. I wonder how long this bottle will last...

I have found out stuff which i am still wondering if i should have found out. I need another drink.

Confused.

I hate my life alot but i'm still here.

I heart wakeboarding and all things which i heart.

torally randomized

Contrary to popular belief, yours truly ain't dead nor am i wanking feverishly on my Xbox 360. Instead, i have turned into a half serial mugger as the exams are nearing. Half serial mugger is so as im also tied down with the job at the moment, where rest comes in merciful 20mins bouts.

Growing too attached to students under one's charge, good or bad thing? Attached for this instance does not mean those paedophillic and pathetic sexual/dating/student-teacher relationship. Would the students look up to the guide or take advantage of him/her?

More instances of couples blocking up the aisle on buses. The female seats on aisle seats while the male protects. Somehow or rather, i think the male will need more protecting himself from angry passengers.

Boys love Winne The Pooh. Oh, they do. I don't. I'm a MAN.

$50 and above T-shirts. For fashion or just plain ripping off?

Speedpost ain't really speedy. Twice a week (basic airmail)shipments from USA? Ridiculous!

Chais. Are they growing in population or are my standards dropping(if any in the first place...)?

I heart Island Creamery. I really do.

I heart Banditto too.

lifeless

With my upcoming ORD date and lots of nothingness to do i feel my life getting even more boring than ever.

Nothing much for me to do in camp anymore since the new guys have arrived. Dismounting days are getting kinda boring since Pang is busy like hell and Bryan just seems to wank his 360 all day. The rest of the 06 people are missing as usual and i can't be bothered to organize anything since most of them would be busy with either school or what not. How boring...

Well since Pang is busy i can't really go wakeboarding unless i go myself. Sometimes i wonder if life would be more interesting if i had a female to mess up my finances, give me some emotional bullshit to think upon and drive me mental. But then i pull up my txt file of quotes and find this oh so true and enlightening quote, can't really remember who it's from tho.

- "yeah. like i really miss the uncertainty, the rejection, the bullshit, the cheating, the lying, the games, the weird fucking mating ritual dance, the expectations, the arguments, the mood swings, the temper tantrums, the breakups and that awful piece of shit feeling only another human being can make you feel."

So then i think again after reading and i decide against the foolish action. Which leaves me little options in my boring life. Mainly Dota, reading, eating and sleeping. Oh not to mention to pre-ORD jitters i'm getting. "What am i going to do after i ORD? Can i find a job? Will it be good? Can i actually earn enough money to buy a vietnam bride and support a family?" Sheesh, sometimes you wish life were more enjoyable with less troubles, but then that won't be life. I really shouldn't be complaining but enjoying this slackness while i can. Get cracking, go workout keep myself fit, start financially planning for my future and start job hunting and stuff. I only got 1 word to describe my lack of action, 'lazy'. So i'll just continue being lifeless and ranting like a blind hobo about the doom of all mankind which should happen in the next 10 days 6 hours 3 minutes and 59 seconds, mark my words! So anyone wanna go for some dinner and coffee?

Oh boredom oh boredom will thou be the death of me?

From http://postsecret.blogspot.com, and no i didn't send it, i just found it nice.

Where are you..................??

I miss you...
i remember the days when your appearance in the morning will bring me happiness....
but now! gone! where are you? gone from the western part of singapore.

Where have all the double-deck bus gone to?? apparently...the east and central.
SMRT hates double-deck and decide to change them to 'bendy' and fight head on with Bus Transit, double-decker. What the hell? It's not like i am against bus...in fact i am a bus service lover. but hell when i took a double deck today, it looks great, comfortable and most importantly stylish!

'Bendy' look like an extra long sausage dog on the road and when u have a long queue of bendy buses at the bus stop, it's jus look horrible. the passenger have to walk longer and traffic get real F-ed up. damn, and where are our tv mobile SMRT. i know i plug into ipod when on bus but some visual entertainment when eye candies lack will be nice.

well we may have to climb those dangerous steps on double-deck but at least the views better on top. somehow, double deck give me the impression of limitless number of seats. when i got up one today, the handle bar and grab looks stylish man....forget those useless LED display that SMRT has put up on the bus. it's like forever 'under-test' or simple inaccurate.

yes. i am bias. i love the double-deck. it's like a ferris wheel on road. right?

For the first time in 4 weeks, finally there is peace at ACS Primary Library, with peace being a relative word. This type of peace refers 'no noise from kids' peace but there its not totally silent over here as there is a talk for parents. But better than nothing really...really.

Yes, due some cajoling by my fellow bastard, Bryan is now posting on this piece of cyberspace. In case you people wonder what the hell im doing inside the library of ACS Primary, its because im the freaking librarian there la. Heh heh heh...

Its a relatively nice job lah. Nice environment(pics, maybe later), kids not as bratty as first thought, nice 'colleagues'(teachers aren't really colleagues as im not employed by MOE) and ample time to do revision or slakc after 1300hrs.

One major grouse and probably the only grouse is that..THERE IS NO CHAI at ACS(P). All boys school, chai what sai?! A bit demoralizing lah but i don't wanna sound like a paedo too. Like if i were to be posted to an all girls primary school...abit siong-ish lah. What im bitching bout is why im not posted to a JC??? Warrao ehhh...

And with regards to an earlier post by my fellow bastard Xuxian, on the Island Creamery chai, one of my female friends have announced to me that on Thursday, apparently, there is a mega wooper shiobu + chai = schaiz working there on the afternoons. Imagine such a compliment on a female coming from a fellow female(whereby this theory only works on the rule that females are...competitive against one another). This would mean that the schaiz at Island Creamery on thursday afternoons are wa wa wa wa waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Chais rocks lah. Schaizs are just...outta this bastardic universe of ours.

busy and lazy.......

yawn~~
it's the time where busy and lazy go hand in hand and this blog seem like a wasted dead land again with minimal activities on the chatterbox.

oh well...tons of presentations, projects and reports deadline this couple of weeks explain my busy-ness. hence, not much time of bitching and gossiping session for us. and i am getting cold turkey for not seeing the water, feeling the adrenaline and baking in the sun

on the other hand, bryan is still the same old self. i have no idea on what he is busy with or plain laziness to blog? hahahaha.... probably dunno doing wat in that library of his.

as for stan, still doing his mounting and dismounting. probably dun wanna scare us with his 'dark' post that he told me about.

soon soon... we need a break...

Dinner time again...

Aye aye....here i am again posting. Yes we have new place to recommend for dinner...
we share everything nice eh.
This time we head down to Yoshuko Kitchen at Serene Centre, Bukit Timah. I am sure most living in the west will know. And for those we have no idea where the hell this place is just enter it into the trusty google search box.
ya...oops...we freaking empty the plate and lick it up dry when we take picture. Hey but this shows something right. The food is god-damn nice and the presentation is great as well. Freak, i gonna say that it's one of the most satisfying dinner i had. Great find by stan and bryan...yum~

Then hop on next door for some desert at Island Cremery. Well...first thing everywhere we go is to see whether there are any chaiz. since bryan claim he saw one last time at island cremery.
ahhh~ there's a decent lady. not say very hot and chaiz but hey...MHBP la...at least she's quite cute looking, better than nothing right.
ok back to the desert....some apple pie and ice cream we had. erm it's pretty ok and decent...but i kinda hate the wooden 'scope' for the ice cream. cause everytime i eat the ice cream i can taste the 'woody' ice cream scope. well of cos, located near many JCs and sec schs in the area, we saw many SGNs for us to bitch and lament about. And new 'term' was invented while on the way back as well...LOL!. Overall, the night out was not bad with good food while we search for some 'foils' in the process. heh heh...

"I only cost a __, yet I'm still available on the shelf"

A familiar title? fill in the blank with a 'heart' shape from your MSN and it will complete the sentence perfectly.

Here I will decipher the true meaning of this sentence and enlighten everyone out there of the risks, dangers and lookouts.

Idealism exists in book, movies and drama series and very seldom do they appear in reality. I hate to be cynical but sometimes this sense of cynicism just creep up to me. This sentence appears to be rather immature and over-positive on the notion of love.

First, I really and sincerely show my appreciation and respect to one who put up the quote above. You indeed demonstrate the courage, guts and bravery that I throughly and thoroughly lack in life. You attempted the thing that I of all failed to attempt.
In my years of life, I tried activities like diving, wakeboarding, even detonating explosives and mines but I feel safe and survive every single outing. My poor mom will be at home worrying about my safety while I was out there quite enjoying the adrenaline (yes even in live range, detonating explosives). But dear mom, you should be glad that I haven attempted in getting a gf. The only activity without a safety handbook, without obvious guidance, without a tertiary degree in. However, studies have shown the statistic and harm when attempt fail (We still know what you did last summer!). So gutless, timid, 'hum' me has tried to avoid this high-risk activity, too afraid to know where it will land me in. I guess chocolate will be a better option currently to taste this unknown chemical reaction.

For the one out there, wake up your idea that whoever only cost a 'heart'. It comes with a greater price unheard and uncried for. I rather sprain my pathetic ankle then go through heartaches, tears and torturous memories at night when attempt failed terribly. At least paying $22 can ease the pain and do miracle after seeing chinese physician and not drowning in alcohol, pukes and shit. Putting up this sentence does make you look like a hero but a hero that lack maturity will end up being a tired, dirty and small in front of the evil of love.

So please attempt this stunt when you are all prepared and thoughts flow like a eons-old spring.
cynical? a 'lil I guess but not quite. but the truth: a stunt that I am indeed too afraid to pull off. laugh your head off when one day I bang my head against the wall to attempt this stunt. Until then I shall remind a contented timid hermit enjoying my cosy hideout.
